David H.T. Wong, architect and historian in Vancouver B.C., speaks on his vivid new graphic history of 150 years of Chinese-American history. Escape to Gold Mountain is a vivid history of the Chinese in their search for “Gold Mountain” (the Chinese colloquialism for North America) as seen through the eyes of the Wong family.
