The second of two lectures on Japanese art, by Princeton University Professor Emeritus Yoshiaki Shimizu.

Famed for his highly individual painting style, Ito Jakuchu retired at the age of 40 to devote himself to art and Zen Buddhism, and created some of Japan’s greatest art masterpieces.
