What is the charitable purpose of the Nordstrom Designer Preview?

Proceeds will benefit the Seattle Art Museum’s special exhibition Future Beauty: Thirty Years of Japanese Fashion, an exciting show of approximately 80 gowns ranging from classic to outrageous. This is a rare opportunity to see unique creations from renowned designers such as Rei Kawakubo, Yohji Yamamoto, Issey Miyake and more. The exhibition will be on view at SAM Downtown from June 27 to September 8, 2013. Last year the Nordstrom Designer Preview raised more than $150,000, and this year we hope to do just as well.

I am unable to attend. May I make a donation?

Donations are welcome and appreciated. Please proceed to the ticket purchase page and you will have the opportunity to make a donation. Thank you for your support of this great cause.
