Series Description
You step away from the neon light’s comforting glow, round a dark corner, and there you are. The street of easy love and easier money—and a labyrinth of the walking wounded and the slain. Will each step bring a sweet promise or a threat? Only the shadows know.

The museum’s film noir series, called “the granddaddy of the world’s film noir festivals” by the Los Angeles Times, launches its twenty-eighth season. Thanks to Scarecrow Video, Talking Rain Beverage Company and Schwartz Brothers Bakery, we’ll have our usual opening-night party. Remember that series tickets to the alluring, dangerous world of noir (called “the hottest film series ticket in town” by the Seattle Post-Intelligencer) sell out faster than a speeding black sedan.

This film series is generously supported by the Bagley Wright Endowment.
