Our summer series celebrates Audrey Hepburn (1929–1993), whose gamine beauty and acting prowess have enchanted film lovers for decades. On screen she epitomized grace, guileless charm and simple kindness, qualities that she brought to her heartfelt charity work in her later years.
Hepburn's Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany's is one of her stellar screen personas. Both brash and timid, chic and down-home, she beguiles and confounds her upstairs New York neighbor, George Peppard, to the strains of "Moon River."
