SAM Audio: Permanent Collection Podcast
The Seattle Art Museum continues to explore new technologies in the galleries and on the web. As a part of the Close Ups project, SAM’s permanent collection audio guide is available as a podcast. Subscribing is a convenient way to download audio guide files to a personal MP3 player so you can bring them with you to the museum or listen to them at home.
More than 50 short audio commentaries are available. Each audio track has a number that corresponds to an "audio stop" location marked in the galleries. You can also listen to each commentary by using your own cell phone.
