Join Art Councils

	Formed in 1973, this council has contributed significantly to the museum's educational programs, publications, acquisitions and exhibitions.

Focusing on the museum's renowned Asian art collection, the AAC supports programming at the Volunteer Park facility by sponsoring expert lectures, demonstrations, symposia, and gallery talks aimed at increasing the community's awareness of this valuable local resource. The council also organizes tours of private collections, gardens and architectural sites as well as providing national and international travel opportunities with curators.
