Join Art Councils

	The Decorative Arts and Paintings Council explores American and European decorative arts from the seventeenth century to the present, as well as European painting and sculpture.

In addition to supporting museum acquisitions and publications, the council sponsors lectures each year by experts on topics such as antique silver, furniture design, porcelain, and European painting from the Renaissance to post-impressionsism. Lectures focus on stylistic periods, cross-cultural and cross-media influences, and the techniques and characteristic styles of individual artists. Once a year, DAPC offers exclusive home tours for its members as well as other social events, exhibition previews, and guided tours throughout the United States and Europe.
