Join Art Councils

	The Native Arts of Americas and Oceania Council of the Seattle Art Museum is a diverse group of collectors, students, artists and scholars.

Since 1976, the NAAOC has sponsored programming on such topics as Northwest Coast Indian art, Navajo textiles, the Mayan Civilization, and Australian Aboriginal art. The Council also offers workshops, demonstrations, trips to public and private collections, special-exhibition previews, music and dance performances, social events and dinners. Native arts are represented prominently in the museum's collection and are a subject of considerable interest and research.
