Premier Membership


Friend $300

Friend membership is the second level in SAM's Premier Membership program. Designed for members who want to pursue a deeper connection to visual art through unique educational programs.

Friend members receive the following special benefits:

  • Two curatorial-led tours of SAM's collections. Created to give members greater access to the museum and a deeper connection to the exhibitions.
  • Two unique collecting events. These special events are designed to offer those interested in collecting, opportunities to meet professionals in the field and view local collections.

In addition, Friend members receive all Patron benefits, including:

  • Special Exhibition invitations to all Premier members-only viewings!
  • Subscriptions to SAM's quarterly SAMconnects and discounts on leading arts magazines
  • Reciprocal admission to twenty-eight museums nationwide, including The Metropolitan Museum of Art
  • Ten one-time-use guest passes to share with family and friends (valid day after purchase)
  • Personalized membership cards for two adults and each child 18 and under
