SAM offers members a variety of additional opportunities to explore and support collections, special exhibitions, and Seattle-area visual arts through specialized membership groups.

Art Councils

Broaden your knowledge of art and our collection, and meet others with similar interests–from ancient Asian to cutting-edge contemporary art.

SAMS (Seattle Art Museum Supporters)

The Seattle Art Museum Supporters (SAMS) mission is to expand the support of the Seattle Art Museum through fundraising and promotional efforts, and to provide educational opportunities for its members.
Guilds
Guilds provide an opportunity to meet other people with a passion to learn about art, artists, collecting art, and the museum collection and special exhibitions. Yearly events include art-related programs, lectures, and tours.
