The most exciting fashion runway event in the Northwest begins with a festive cocktail and hors d’oeuvre reception, followed by a sensational presentation of fall collections from renowned American and European designers.
This event is presented by Nordstrom in partnership with the Seattle
Art Museum Supporters.

What are the ticket levels and prices?
All reservations are offered on a first-come, first-served basis with limited availability. Prices include a complimentary cocktail and hors d’oeuvre reception and a dessert reception.
For tax purposes, the fair market value of each ticket is $100. Confirmations will be sent by email to all purchases and donors of record.
Premium Runway: $750 per person
Includes recognition in the general invitation and the evening’s program; priority valet parking and car retrieval service at the end of the night; Designer Preview gift
and prime, front of the row catwalk view runway seats.

Runway level: $400 per person
Includes recognition in the general invitation and the evening’s program, valet parking, Designer Preview gift and personalized runway seats.

Connoisseur level: $300 per person
Includes recognition in the evening’s program, valet parking, Designer Preview gift and personalized seats in the second and third rows.

Patron level: Sold out
Includes Designer Preview gift and reserved seating behind Connoisseur area.
Reservations are non-refundable. If you are unable to use your reservation, please email NDP@seattleartmuseum.org. Reservations are convertible to a fully tax-deductible contribution or transferable at the same level.
What is the recommended attire?
Festive or business attire is appropriate.
Where is Pier 91 located?
Pier 91 is Seattle’s new cruise ship terminal, located just north of downtown Seattle at the foot of the Magnolia Bridge.
How do I get there?
From Interstate 5 North
- Head south on I-5 and follow the signs to the Mercer Street Exit
- Take Exit 167 to Mercer Street (right-hand off-ramp)
- Take a right turn onto Fairview Avenue North (400 feet)
- Take a left turn on Valley Street (0.18 miles)
- Valley Street bends to the left and becomes Broad Street (0.75 miles)
- Turn right to Denny Way (0.32 miles)
- Bend right to Western Avenue (0.22 miles)
- Western joins Elliott Avenue West (1.18 miles)
- Follow signs to Magnolia Bridge
- Turn right at 14th Avenue West (signal light intersection) (0.14 miles)
- Stay to the right and follow ramp joining the Magnolia Bridge (West Garfield Street) (0.35 miles)
- Exit right and follow signs to “Smith Cove Park” (0.55 miles) and Cruise Terminal
- Turn right at bottom of ramp and follow signs for cruise terminal parking or cruise terminal
From Interstate 5 South
- Head north on I-5 and follow signs to the Mercer Street Exit

May I sit with my friends?
If you purchase tickets together, you will be seated together. If you purchase tickets separately, you may indicate with whom you wish to be seated as long as your reservations are at the same level. We will do our best to accommodate all requests.
What is the charitable purpose of the Nordstrom Designer Preview?
Proceeds will benefit the Seattle Art Museum’s upcoming Gauguin and Polynesia: An Elusive Paradise exhibition on view February 2012. Last year, the Nordstrom Designer Preview raised $160,000 and this year, we hope to do just as well.
