The most exciting fashion runway event in the Northwest begins with a festive wine and hors d'oeuvre reception, followed by a sensational presentation of fall collections from renowned American and European designers.

This event is presented by Nordstrom in partnership with the Seattle Art Museum Supporters.

What is the attire?
Festive attire or business attire is appropriate.

Where is Pier 30 located?

Just south of downtown Seattle at 2431 E. Marginal Way S. on Seattle's waterfront.

How do I get there?


From Interstate 5 North
  • Take exit number 164B, toward 4th Ave. S.
  • Merge onto I-90 W.
  • Turn right onto 4th Ave. S.
  • Turn right onto S. Atlantic Street.

  • At the intersection of S. Atlantic Street and Alaskan Way, turn left. The Terminal 30 Cruise Facility entrance is about 1.5 miles south on the right-hand side.

From Interstate 90 West
  • Turn right onto 4th Ave. S.
  • Stay right onto 4th Ave. S.
  • Turn right onto S. Atlantic Street.
  • At the intersection of S. Atlantic Street and Alaskan Way, turn left. The Terminal 30 Cruise Facility entrance is about 1.5 miles south on the right-hand side.

How much do tickets cost?
 Runway level: $500 per person.

Includes complimentary valet parking, Designer Preview gift, wine and hors d’oeuvre reception, dessert and preferred personalized seating on the runway.

Connoisseur level: $350 per person.

(Limited availability, first-come, first-served basis)
Includes complimentary valet parking, Designer Preview gift, wine and hors d’oeuvre reception, dessert and preferred personalized seating.

Patron level: $175 per person.

Includes a Designer Preview gift, wine and hors d’oeuvre reception, dessert and reserved seating.

Is valet parking available?
Yes, for Runway and Connoisseur level ticket holders.

How will seats be assigned?
If you purchase a Runway, Connoisseur or Patron level ticket and wish to be seated with other guests who also purchased a ticket at the same level, please indicate with whom you wish to be seated on your RSVP card or online order.

Will the event have a no-host bar?
All available beverages will be included in your ticket price.

What will the proceeds from the Nordstrom Designer Preview benefit?
Proceeds from the event will support the special exhibition Inspiring Impressionism: The Impressionists and the Art of the Past, on view at the Seattle Art Museum Downtown June19–September 21, 2008.

Why has Nordstrom partnered with the Seattle Art Museum Supporters?
Because supporting the arts is an important part of its charitable giving, Nordstrom is proud to partner with the Seattle Art Museum Supporters (SAMS) and SAM. Nordstrom and SAMS have partnered for the past twenty-one years to present the Nordstrom Designer Preview.

How much money will this event raise?
Last year the Nordstrom Designer Preview raised $180,000 to benefit the Seattle Art Museum, and this year we hope to do just as well.
