Tickets to this talk are currently sold out. Unclaimed seats will be released 10 minutes prior to the lecture on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, a free simulcast is available in Nordstrom Lecture Hall.

At a moment when the role of women is being assessed in all aspects of Western society and throughout history, we will discuss three paintings in our European collection created by women artists. Two are by French Impressionists of the 19th century and the third was recently attributed to a 17th-century Brussels painter who has just had her first solo show. Chiyo Ishikawa will talk about the artists and their careers, and Nick Dorman will discuss new findings about the paintings discovered through research and conservation.

Doors open at 6:30 pm for Happy Hour in the South Hall where you can enjoy complimentary wine. Curator talks begin at 7 pm in Plestcheeff Auditorium.

Single tickets: Members $7 / Public $10
Series ticket packages are not available to the general public.
