Hear & Now Performances and Artist Talkback

Jun 6 2019

Seattle Art Museum

Plestcheeff Auditorium

6 PM – 8:30 PM

Celebrate the new sound sculpture installed in SAM's Sarkowsky Hall, Hear & Now by local artist Trimpin and Path with Art students, with performances and a discussion.

Attend all or any part of this event. From 6–7 pm, join us for pop up performances by Path with Art students next to Hear & Now. Then, from 7–8 pm, hear from artist Trimpin and Path with Art students about the creation of the sculpture.

At 8 pm, Path with Art student artists and artists from the greater Seattle community will perform a movement piece directed by Rachel Brumer and Monique Holt. Accompanied by the musical compositions played by the sculpture, this movement response will incorporate ASL and poetry developed for the sculpture.

Free and open to the public. RSVP Requested.
