SAM members are invited to celebrate the the opening of Imogen Cunningham: A Retrospective at our Member Preview Day!

The first major retrospective in the United States in more than 35 years, this exhibition brings together nearly 200 of her insightful portraits, elegant flower and plant studies, poignant street pictures, and groundbreaking nudes in a visual celebration of Cunningham’s immense contribution to the history of 20th-century photography.

All galleries, SAM Shop, and new MARKET SEATTLE restaurant will be open. Please note that there will be no onsite exhibition overview at this event. Timed tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Membership benefits are non-transferrable.

PLEASE NOTE: In accordance with the latest Public Health—Seattle & King County order, starting October 25, 2021, all visitors age 12 and older must show proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 PCR test to enter the museum. Additionally, masks are required for all individuals over the age of two regardless of vaccination. Find more details here.

Entry to the exhibition is free for members. Guests of members are welcome and will be asked to pay full admission price unless using a Patron-level guest pass or discount pass.
