10 AM – 5 PM
Seeking relief from an uneasy world, these artists choose to focus on the rich artistic tradition of florals. Some of the artists in this show have their own gardens where they seek refuge from contemporary life. For others, the floral motif is simply an expression or metaphor — one of many tools in an abstract artist's toolkit. The artists in this show are: Harold Hollingsworth, Dana Roberts, Stephen Rock. This show is free and open to the public with a reception for the artists on First Thursday in April.
The Seattle Art Museum acknowledges that we are located on the ancestral land of the Coast Salish people.
