In this virtual workshop, participants will be introduced to diverse artistic responses to water and its changing role in ecosystems as a part of Our Blue Planet: Global Visions of Water at SAM. They will engage with lessons that cover students’ personal connections to water cycles in their schools, as well as make connections to how artists convey those ideas across cultures. Recommended for K-5 educators, all are welcome.
This workshop is free for K-12 educators attend. It includes resources and one Washington State clock hour. Classroom educators, paraeducators, subject area coaches, and administrators are welcome to attend. RSVPs to this event are greatly appreciated.
