DESCRIPTION:Call your friends and bring the family\, admission is FREE to everyone at t
 he Seattle Art Museum on the first Thursday of every month.\nIn addition to
  our regular hours\, Seattle Art Museum will be open for Free First Thursda
 y evenings from 5–8 pm to provide more opportunities to visit the galleries
  for free! Evening hours will feature extra activities like live music\, dr
 op-in art making\, and in-gallery experiences for visitors.\nTickets are av

 South Hall\nThis selection of short\, Indigenous-made films exemplifies the
  stunning fortitude and vibrant visions born of communities from around the

 on\nBrotman Forum\nFarMore Washington is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that supports 
 local farms. Stop at their table to learn more about their work and get inv
 olved!\n5:30-6 pm | Farm to Table Talk from Local Farmer Caroline Baptist  
 \n4th floor galleries\, meet at the entrance to the exhibition\nCaroline Ba
 ptist is a first-generation farmer of River Valley Country Club\, a small-s
 cale farm in Snoqualmie Valley. Caroline has grown organic vegetables\, rai
 sed chickens\, ducks and geese for eggs\, sheep for meat and fiber\, and cu
 rrently raises heritage breed turkeys on pasture. Caroline has a holistic a
 pproach to farming\, valuing regenerative practices like rotational grazing
 \, cover cropping\, and low-till farming to improve soil health.\n5:30–6:30

 k from Professor of French and Italian Irina Markina  \n4th floor galleries
 \, meet at the entrance to the exhibition\nIrina Markina teaches French lan
 guage and culture at the University of Washington. She is a recent transpla
 nt to the PNW\, having obtained her doctorate from Princeton University in 
 2022. She is currently working on a book on the overlooked public murals co
 mmissioned for Parisian town halls in the late nineteenth century.
