  our regular hours\, Seattle Art Museum will be open for Free First Thursda
 y evenings from 5–8 pm to provide more opportunities to visit the galleries
  for free! Evening hours will feature extra activities like live music\, dr
 op-in art making\, and in-gallery experiences for visitors.\nSnacks and bev
 erages will be available for purchase in the Brotman Forum. Pick up a $3 of

 , AANHPI collective dedicated to uniting communities through the collection
 \, preservation\, and performance of music and stories from Asia and the As

 ize Artist in Residency (AiR) is a woman-run and woman-seed-funded art orga
 nization. Their mission is to foster and accelerate the careers of emerging
  artists by creating space and opportunities\, establishing an artist allia

 ies!  Through soul-stirring music\, the series raises awareness for the uns
 heltered and food-insecure\, inspiring action and compassion. We encourage 
 you to bring a gently used coat or blanket to donate to the  Downtown Emerg
 ency Service Center (DESC). Our featured artist is former SAM employee   Jo
 sephine Howell. Josephine tirelessly supports her community through electri
 fying gospel events\, concerts\, and her work with the Emergency Feeding Pr
 ogram. She has partnered with Lady A Productions and The Rhapsody Project t
 o uplift and educate our community.\nSouth Hall\n7–7:30 pm\nIn-gallery acti
 vity with local artist Imani Sims\nTariqa Waters: Venus is Missing \nImani 
 Sims is an alchemist\, artist\, and author from Seattle\, WA. Imani draws i
 nspiration from the cosmos to integrate art\, ritual\, and the Black aesthe
 tic into experiences tailored for QTBIPOC communities. Their shelves overfl
 ow with books delving into Afrofuturist realms\, and their tarot deck\,  Th
 e Deck of NONE\, embodies their deep connection to the genre. \n3rd floor g
 alleries\nTickets are available both onsite and online.
