 s recent work\, including Fire Weather: On the Front Lines of a Burning Wor
 ld\, which was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize and the US National Book A
 ward\, the winner of Britain's Baillie Gifford Prize and Canada's Shaughnes
 sy-Cohen Prize\, and was one of the New York Times’ ten best books of 2023.
  Vaillant's work has appeared in The New Yorker\, The Atlantic\, and Nation
 al Geographic.\nThe festival continues from September 18 to 21 at Town Hall
  Seattle.\nExperience the magic of literature and intellectual discourse wi
 th some of the world’s finest authors and thinkers. The second edition of J
 LF Seattle promises to extend the Jaipur Literature Festival’s characterist
 ic flavor and style to the stunning city of Seattle. Hear from our partners
