Enjoy live lion dances\, drop-in art activities with local artists\, and a storytime inspired by the holiday .\n11 am\nKick off the new year with an unforgettable lion dance\, spreadin g joy\, happiness\, and blessings of good health for the year ahead present ed by the Lieu Quan Lion Dance team! This indoor performance is ideal for f amilies with young children and has a limited capacity. A total of 200 wris tbands will be handed out starting at 10:30 am the day of the event. There will be an outdoor lion dance at 1 pm in front of the museum that is open t o all with no wristbands required.\n11:30 am\nDiscover healing through move ment with Seattle School of Chen Style Taijiquan\nnoon\nExperience a live i llustrated storytime and craft with artist\, Julie Kim inspired by the holi day.\n11 am–2 pm\nBring a wood snake to life by contributing to a community sculpture designed by local artists\, Monyee Chau and Jae Eun Kim that wil l be displayed at the museum for all to see.\nPhoto booth hosted by heyfund ay events &\; experiences. \nDumplings\, edamame\, non-alcoholic\, and a lcoholic beverages available for purchase from Shooby Doo Catering.\n1 pm\n Free outdoor lion dance performance by Mak Fai Lion Dance.\nWhile food\, dr inks\, and large backpacks are not permitted in the galleries\, we encourag e all families to bring personal snacks and beverages to enjoy throughout t he museum's lower level. All personal belongings can be stored in the self- serve lockers on a first-come\, first-served basis.
