Celebrate nature and art with the moms in your life! Enjoy a baby rave, conversations with a native plant expert, environment-inspired art activities, Mom and Me yoga, watercoloring in the park, a talk about the creation of the Olympic Sculpture Park with Michelle Arab and Bobby McCullough, and a member-exclusive tour of the park with Bobby.
10 am–noon | Baby Rave with Kandi, Wand, and Glow Bar*
DJ Groove Gardener and his hype ensemble are firing up beats and bops for the whole family to strut their stuff to! Woodland meadows meet colorful lights and bubbles everywhere. Dancing dreams come true for our little ravers with a Kandi, Wand, and Glow Bar designed by artist, Claudia Villallobos.

Member-exclusive peat pot painting with the WA Native Plant Society
SAM members can visit the art lounge to decorate their very own peat pots and plant their native seeds. Show your member card for entry.

Plant chats with Washington Native Plant Society
Visit the WA Native Plant Society booth to learn about nature in the Pacific Northwest and how to nurture your local environment. Show your membership card to receive a complimentary pack of native seeds!
Watercolor en plein air
Check out a portable watercoloring kit to paint your favorite spot in the park.
Self-guided family park adventure
Take your park exploration to a new level with this fun park adventure guide.
Member Month scavenger hunts
Members, pick up a scavenger hunt for adults and kids, and redeem your prize upon completion! (Prizes include pins, stickers, and mini doodle keychains while supplies last.)

12–12:30 pm | Mom & me yoga
Roll out your yoga mats and stretch with gentle, playful movement led by Take Care Yoga.
1–2 pm | Public Tour: Discover the Olympic Sculpture Park
2–3 pm | SAM Talks: Raising a Park
Michelle Arab and Bobby McCullough share their reflections on the park's evolution from its earliest vision to the vibrant community space it is today. Tickets are $15 for the public and $10 for SAM Members.
3:15–4 pm | Member Tour with Bobby McCullough
SAM members and their guests can join Bobby after the talk for a deeper look at the park's horticulture.
If you plan on joining SAM Talks: Raising a Park, be sure to get tickets. If you plan on coming only to attend the rest of the fun, no need to RSVP!
