SUMMARY:Naramore Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:Since 1985\, Seattle Public Schools has held the Naramore Art Show to share
  the artworks of its students and celebrate their achievements with the com
 munity. SAM is honored to display nearly 200 works of art by young artists 
 from Seattle Public Schools on our walls. \nVisitors can find reflections o
 n everyday moments of peace\, explore abstract representations of community
 \, and escape to never-before-seen places. The Naramore Art Show will be op
 en from April 2-June 1\, 2025 in SAM's Community Gallery\, located on the f
 irst floor of the museum. \nSAM will hold a celebration of the 2025 Naramor
 e Art Show on May 9\, 2025 from 6–7 pm in South Hall. This will take place 
 immediately before Teen Night Out\, with attendees aged 13–19 being encoura
 ged to stay for our exciting evening program of music\, dance\, and creativ
 ity created by teens\, for teens.\nTickets\nFree\nFrequently Asked Question
 s\nWhere do I enter the museum for the Naramore Ceremony?\nPlease enter the
  museum at the double doors on 2nd Ave and University St.\, across from Ben
 aroya Hall and the Symphony light rail station.\nWill food be provided\, or
  should my teen eat beforehand?\nA limited amount of cookies and sparkling 
 water will be provided during the Naramore Ceremony on a first-come\, first
 -served basis.\nI’m attending the Naramore Ceremony\, can I stay for the Te
 en Night Out?\nYouth aged 13-19 years will be able to stay for Teen Night O
 ut after the Naramore Ceremony. There is a smaller parent/guardian lounge a
 rea available during Teen Night Out\, but adults will not be able to enter 
 the event.\nWhat should my teen bring?\nAttendees do not need to bring anyt
 hing to attend the Naramore Ceremony.\nDo I need tickets to attend the Nara
 more Ceremony?\nTickets are not needed to attend the Naramore Ceremony. It 
 is open to the public.\nMy teen has art in the Naramore Art Show. Should I 
 take it with me when we leave?\nNo\, the artwork will remain on view throug
 h June 1\, 2025
