 s Stephen Rock and Laura Van Horne create upward motion and movement using 
 abstract imagery rooted in organic inspiration. Combining digital and tradi
 tional mediums\, Stephen Rock uses abstract elements of the land to bring t
 o life the energy of growth and renewal\, while artist Laura Van Horne expe
 riments with an elixir of inks\, pigments\, and paints in her collection of
  gemstone geodes that appear to rise from the earth.\nSee new works from Ro
 ck\, Van Horne\, and other SAM Gallery artists in Rising.\nJoin us for an a
