DESCRIPTION:Join us for a laid-back day of music\, creativity\, and community as we cel
 ebrate Asian American voices and stories. Hang out to SEAVinyl's smooth bea
 ts and feel-good tunes or bring a book to exchange with our friends from th
 e Seattle Chinatown Bookclub. Explore the themes and ideas in Anila Agha's 
 work through a drop-in art workshop\, or just come to soak up the vibes and
  meet new people!\n11 am–4 pm | Book exchange + reading space\nBring a book
 \, take a book. Whether it's a beloved novel\, zine\, or comic\, share some
 thing that moved you. Find a spot to read surrounded by beautiful Volunteer
  Park views and chill beats. \nnoon–4 pm | SEAVinyl\nSEAVinyl is a Seattle-
 based\, AANHPI collective dedicated to uniting communities through the coll
 ection\, preservation\, and performance of music and stories from Asia and 
 the Asian diaspora. Rooted in vinyl culture and community memory\, they cel
 ebrate their shared heritage through sound.\nnoon-3 pm | We Belong Seattle\
 nBeyond Marginalization: Finding Authenticity in our Shadow Selves\nComplem
 enting Anila Quayyum Agha’s exhibit Geometry of Light\, this art workshop o
 ffers a reflective\, hands-on experience focused on the interplay of light\
 , shadow\, and belonging. Through a simple\, guided art-making activity\, p
 articipants will explore the masks we wear and the parts of our identities 
 we feel pressured to hide in order to fit in within America. By illuminatin
 g these parts of ourselves\, this workshop aims to create a supportive spac
 e for deeper self-understanding and a strengthened sense of belonging.  \nT
 o ensure everyone has the opportunity to participate in this activity safel
 y\, the first hour and a half of the workshop (12-1:30 pm) will be by reser
