 yeYeon Kim\, a Seattle-based pianist originally from Seoul\, South Korea\, 
 draws inspiration from Farm to Table: Art\, Food\, and Identity in the Age 
 of Impressionism\, with a performance shaped like a French multi-course mea
 l. Each musical work offers a different "flavor"—from simplicity and freshn
 ess to richness and sweetness—reflecting the exhibition’s exploration of fo
 od\, culture\, and identity. Together\, the program invites listeners to ex
 perience French impressionist music not as separate works\, but as a shared
  table of sounds.\n1-2 pm | Dictée Gourmande with Pauline Chateau\nSAM Nord
 strom Art Studio\nPut your French skills to the test with a fun and flavorf
 ul twist! In this Dictée Gourmande hosted by Alliance Fran&ccedil\;aise de 
 Seattle\, participants will listen carefully and transcribe the steps of a 
 classic French recipe with correct spelling and grammar. It's a tasty way t
 o sharpen your language skills with a focus on new culinary vocabulary. AFS
 eattle French instructor\, Pauline\, will read the recipe a few times as yo
 u write\, before exploring the grammar and vocabulary behind it.
