DESCRIPTION:Play\, picnic\, create\, and frolic this summer at the Olympic Sculpture Pa
 rk! SAM presents an entire magical summer season packed full of programs th
 at combine visual art\, movement\, music\, community\, and a sprinkle of pi
 xie dust! This year\, we’re embodying the fairy magic of nature\, reminding
  us of the deep\, playful connection between imagination and the environmen
 t.\nAll Summer at SAM programs are free\, public\, and suitable for all age
 s. There is no outside alcohol permitted in the Olympic Sculpture Park.\nTh
 ursday evenings bring the party with performances by Seattle-based musician
 s\, hands-on art activities to inspire your creativity\, and rotating local
  food trucks. We kick off this season of Summer at SAM with live music and 
 performances presented in partnership with Sonic Guild and art-making curat
 ed by The Cutie Foundation.\n5:30–7 pm | DJ Kween Kaysh.\nKick off the even
 ing with Kween Kaysh as she opens the program with a set full of sparkly be
 ats\, playful remixes\, and dancefloor magic. \n5:30–9 pm | Art Activities\
 nCraft a whimsical fairy trinket with a rotating cast of local artists cura
 ted by The Cutie Foundation—then flutter back to the park on August 10 for 
 the grand finale of Summer at SAM: Fairy Fest\, where you can trade your tr
 easures with fellow fairies!\nSonic Guild Concerts\n7 pm | Black Ends\nThis
  self-described gunk-pop is about as sweet as that wad of asphalt-crusted b
 ubble gum you found stuck on the bottom of your favorite boots. Much like t
 he legendary grunge bands that influenced the Seattle trio\, Black Ends is 
 artfully adept at smothering catchy pop and rock structures with toxic leve
 ls of grime.\n8 pm | Zookraught\nHailing from the gritty underbelly of Seat
 tle\, WA\, Zookraught is a band that refuses to conform to musical norms. T
 heir sound is a chaotic blend of dance-punk\, angular rhythms\, and experim
 ental noise\, creating a sonic landscape that is both exhilarating and tota
 lly original.\nDinner &amp\; Drinks\nGrab a bite during the concert from lo
 cal food trucks Kathmandu Momocha and Big Boys Filipino Food Truck. Additio
 nal snacks and beverages will be available for purchase from Shooby Doo Cat
 ering in the PACCAR Pavilion.
