DESCRIPTION:Play\, picnic\, create\, and frolic this summer at the Olympic Sculpture Pa
 rk! SAM presents an entire magical summer season packed full of programs th
 at combine visual art\, movement\, music\, community\, and a sprinkle of fa
 iry dust. This year\, we’re embodying the fairy magic of nature\, reminding
  us of the deep\, playful connection between imagination and the environmen
 t.\nAll Summer at SAM programs are free\, public\, and suitable for all age
 s. There is no outside alcohol permitted in the Olympic Sculpture Park.\nTh
 ursday evenings bring the party with performances by Seattle-based musician
 s\, hands-on art activities to inspire your creativity\, and rotating local
  food trucks. We kick off this season of Summer at SAM with live music and 
 performances presented in partnership with Sonic Guild and art-making curat
 ed by The Cutie Foundation.\n5:30–7 pm | DJ Clover\nKick off the evening wi
 th DJ Clover as he opens the program with a set full of sparkly beats\, pla
 yful remixes\, and dancefloor magic.\n5:30–9 pm | Art Activities\nCraft you
 r own whimsical fairy trinket with a rotating cast of local artists curated
  by The Cutie Foundation. Then flutter back to the park on August 10 for th
 e grand finale of Summer at SAM: Fairy Fest\, where you can trade your trea
 sures with fellow fairies! \n6–6:30 pm | Neukom Vivarium\nExplore the Mark 
 Dion's Neukom Vivarium on a guided tour of this hybrid artwork and learning
  lab\, where a fallen Western hemlock becomes home to an interconnected wor
 ld of fungi\, insects\, and microbes.\nSonic Guild Concerts\n7 pm | Midnigh
 t High\nMidnight High is a dream-pop band based out of Seattle\, WA. Blendi
 ng elements of 80’s synthpop\, alt-pop\, and indie rock with strong lead vo
 cals\, lush harmonies\, and modern production\, Midnight High embodies a so
 und that is both contemporary and deeply nostalgic.\n8 pm | Babes in Canyon
 \nEloquently blending synth-folk\, moody pop\, and soaring vocal harmonies\
 , Babes in Canyon crafts music that is eminently engaging and very much of 
 the moment. Born of a spontaneous writing session during a blackout\, the b
 and wandered naturally into the land of heavy beats\, lyrics with an elemen
 t of storytelling\, and synth-folk instrumentation with a twist.\nDinner &a
 mp\; Drinks\nGrab a bite during the concert from local food trucks Kathmand
 u Momocha and Big Boys Filipino Food Truck. Additional snacks and beverages
  will be available for purchase from Shooby Doo Catering in the PACCAR Pavi
 lion.
