Gather your ghouls and don your finest frockâthis Halloween, the Seattle Art Museum invites you to revel, cackle, and cavort with us at Remix. This spine-tingling Halloween party is inspired by Farm to Table: Art, Food, and Identity in the Age of Impressionism, the spooky brilliance of Goyaâs etchings, and 19th century Romance. Spirits of the past will haunt the night alongside gothic glamor, surreal light shows, and fog-drenched ghost stories designed to disturb.
Explore SAMâs galleries where hunger meets horror. Race to solve a paranormal mystery before the clock strikes midnight. Expect thrilling performances, chillingly prolific DJs, and movie screenings tinged with psychological horror. Create keepsakes in hands-on art stations, strike a pose in a blood-red portrait booth, or walk the catwalk in a costume competition (details below). You can even learn the waltz with a ghostly regency ensemble, if you dare!
Stay as the museum slips into a fever dream. This Remix is no ordinary gatheringâitâs a descent into bountiful madness.
