Join us this spring at the Seattle Art Museum for an inspiring evening centered on Beyond Mysticism: The Modern Northwest. This Spring Educator Open House invites educators to discover how artists of the Pacific Northwest forged a distinctive modernist style that blends nature, abstraction, and inner vision. Explore the galleries with fellow educators and enjoy light refreshments. Enjoy hands-on activities, ready-to-use classroom resources, and guided tours.
This event is open to Kâ12 educators, paraeducators, subject area coaches, administrators, teaching artists, and arts education advocates. Registration includes one educator and one guest.
Support for K-12 programs during the 2025-2026 school year is provided by the Foster Foundation. Partial, sustained support for SAMâs K-12 programs is provided by an endowment established in 1999 by a National Endowment for the Humanities challenge grant and the generous contributions of matching donors, including the Ann P. Wyckoff Education Endowment. The William Randolph Hearst Endowed Fund for Education Programs at the Seattle Art Museum has supported SAM Kâ12 programs since 1994.
