Preston Kochéin Singletary is an internationally recognized glass artist of Tlíngit descent. His new publication Fusion Notes (Minor Matters, 2023) is the third hardcover publication of his work, and the first he has authored.

Singletary’s works of public art have been installed in multiple locations across the Northwest. He and David Franklin were recently selected by 4Culture and King County Metro for a new public art project in Pioneer Square. In addition to SAM, his works are included in the permanent collections of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the Ethnographic Museum, Stockholm, The National Museum of Scotland, The British Museum, and The Smithsonian National Museum of The American Indian, among others.

Preston Singletary’s Frog Feast Bowl (1997) and Whale Hat (1999) are now on view in the Seattle Art Museum's third floor galleries.
