SAM Gallery Presents: Troy Gua Virtual Opening

Mar 4 2021

Seattle Art Museum

7 PM – 8 PM

Join us for an evening with artist Troy Gua! Start the event with an inspired artistic cocktail or mocktail presented by Rob and Josie Wilson, owners of The Diller Room! Then, we'll visit with Troy in his studio to discuss the process of creating this exciting collection of new Hybrids, many of which celebrate powerful voices and lives throughout American History.

About the Artist

"I consistently produce accessible and engaging conceptual work in a wide range of media, marrying the commercial and contemporary, conveying a glossy design aesthetic with a keen sense of humor. My subject matter deals with the investigation and layering of identities, cultural critique and commentary and the universal human need for recognition. It refers to what we choose to see and what we choose to show." – Troy Gua.
