Call your friends and bring the family, admission is FREE to everyone at the Seattle Art Museum on the first Thursday of every month.
New! Starting this month, Seattle Art Museum will be open for Free First Thursday evenings from 5–8 pm to provide more opportunities to visit the galleries for free! Evening hours will feature various activities such as live music, drop-in art making, and in-gallery experiences for visitors.
Drop in for
- 5:15–6 pm - Yirrkala gallery tour from a docent
- 6:15–7:45 pm - DJ set from DJ Kennady Quille
- 6:30–7 pm & 7:15–7:45 - My Favorite Things tour with local actor/choreographer/movement artist Stefan Richmond in the third-floor galleries.
- Meet SAM's new CEO Scott Stulen and ask him a question at a Lucy-from-Peanuts advice booth
- Get information and resources from the The Lavender Rights Project in the Brotman Forum
