Call your friends and bring the family, admission is FREE to everyone at the Seattle Art Museum on the first Thursday of every month.
New! Starting this month, Seattle Art Museum will be open for Free First Thursday evenings from 5â8 pm to provide more opportunities to visit the galleries for free! Evening hours will feature various activities such as live music, drop-in art making, and in-gallery experiences for visitors.
Drop in for
- 5:15â6 pm - Yirrkala gallery tour from a docent
- 6:15â7:45 pm - DJ set from DJ Kennady Quille
- 6:30â7 pm & 7:15â7:45 - My Favorite Things tour with local actor/choreographer/movement artist Stefan Richmond in the third-floor galleries.
- Meet SAM's new CEO Scott Stulen and ask him a question at a Lucy-from-Peanuts advice booth
- Get information and resources from the The Lavender Rights Project in the Brotman Forum
