All members are invited to join us on the opening day of Anila Quayyum Agha: Geometry of Light at the Seattle Asian Art Museum. Plus, take advantage of the rare opportunity to hear from Anila Quayyum Agha herself at 6 pm!
Be illuminated by Anila Quayyum Agha’s new exhibition, Geometry of Light. Through the use of light and shadows, Agha’s large-scale installations project hope in the face of adversity. Her laser-cut steel cubes project light through intricate ornate designs that cover you in geometric shadow patterns and create a sense of wonder. Experience this immersive installation that invites introspection, connection, and community.
Member-exclusive perks include a bar with drinks and snacks for purchase from 4–6 pm and an artist talk with Agha at 6 pm in the Stimson Auditorium. Galleries will be open until 8 pm so you can explore the exhibition more after the talk.
Seating for the talk is first-come, first-served. Tickets will be available July 30.
Anila Quayyum Agha: Geometry of Light is organized by the Seattle Art Museum.
