Does Seattle have its own unique food culture? How have other cooking traditions influenced what our regional cuisine is? What does the future hold for our local restaurant culture?
Join chef, food writer and founder of Serious Eats, J. Kenji Lopez-Alt and Daisley C. Gordon, chef and co-owner of Cafe Campagne in a conversation moderated by KUOW's Ruby de Luna. This thought-provoking conversation is inspired by the Seattle Art Museum’s special exhibition, Farm to Table: Art, Food, and Identity in the Age of Impressionism.
The panelists will discuss the exhibition's theme of food culture as a source of identity and examine the ways in which Seattle is defined (or not) by its restaurants, local cuisine, and food trendsetters.
