Todo Es takes cues from the Latin Jazz of Cal Tjader and Charlie Byrd, with touches of Brazilian Samba and bossa nova, all shaped by their own unique sound. Their band blends Afro-Cuban, Caribbean, and Brazilian sounds with space for improvisation.

This intricate work of art reflects the spirit and essence of Día de los Muertos, showcasing the beauty of life and the joyful acceptance of death as a natural part of it. This year’s Tapete will feature additional unique sculptures that honor organizations active in the Seattle community.
